After giving Michael Gallup permission to seek a trade, the Dallas Cowboys will need to add another wideout to replace him. The good news is that there are several available free-agent WRs who can fill the void.

3. WR Cedrick Wilson Jr.

Just like the saying goes, what's old is new again, right?

Cowboys fans surely remember Cedrick Wilson Jr., who joined the team as a 2018 sixth-round pick before joining the Miami Dolphins on a three-year, $22.8 million deal in 2022. Unfortunately, the ex-Boise State product's time in South Beach didn't go as planned as he only tallied 34 receptions for 432 yards and three touchdowns in 30 games.

Dolphins fans were, rightfully, frustrated by Wilson's output considering that he didn't come close to reaching the heights he did in Big D. He received that lucrative contract after a fantastic 2021 campaign with the Cowboys that saw Wilson tally 602 receiving yards and six TDs over 16 games, easily surpassing what he did across two years in Miami.

After the Dolphins restructured his deal last offseason, Wilson is a free agent and it only makes sense that the Cowboys target him. The Memphis, TN native already knows Mike McCarthy's system and has solid chemistry with Dak Prescott, so it wouldn't be shocking if a return to Big D rejuvenated his career.

Besides, Dallas likely would've brought Wilson back two years ago had he not fallen out of their price range, so I can imagine Jerry Jones being willing to bring him back on a cheap 'prove yourself' deal.
