3. Melvin Ingram

Melvin Ingram is another free agent capable of making plays in the backfield if Dallas wants to go that route.

Things haven't gone as well for the 34-year-old since his three straight Pro Bowl seasons, but his performance last campaign was very encouraging. Ingram shined in a featured role for the Dolphins in 2022, recording 6.0 sacks, marking his most since his last Pro Bowl nod in 2019.

Ingram is more of a rotational player at this point than pure starter, as evidenced by him playing in just 45% of Miami's available defensive snaps last year. However, Dan Quinn is excellent at swapping players and figuring how to put them in the best position to succeed when they are on the field.

Ingram's pedigree is undeniable, and his bounce back in 2022 shows he still has something left in the tank. He'd be an exciting addition, while also providing a nice insurance option on the edge in case any unforeseen absences pop up during the season.
