Week 11 Cowboys vs Texans: November 18th

For a little over a year now, the Houston Texans' front office has been putting the pieces together to make the Texans legitimate contenders in the AFC while at the same time making them legitimate in-state rivals for the Cowboys for the first time in a while.

The Texans committed to getting better throughout this off-season and made several moves to prove they were serious about becoming contenders in the AFC. Throughout this off-season, the Texans managed to trade for both Joe Mixon and Stefon Diggs, two dynamic offensive players who should be able to help upgrade an already promising Texans offense. The Texans will also have the 2023 Offensive Rookie of the Year CJ Stroud going into his second season in the NFL, and based on his debut season, he appears to be one of the most promising young quarterbacks in the league currently.

What will make this game more of a challenge for the Cowboys is that they will be facing the Texans only a week after facing the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are known to be one of the most physically dominating teams in the league and will no doubt put a toll on the Cowboys physically by the time the game is over. Hopefully, the Cowboys can recover quickly from their matchup against Philadelphia and be fully recovered once they face the Texans.

The Texans will be coming to Dallas on Monday, November 18th, and fans should be in for a great game in this budding rivalry between the two teams of Texas. It will be a good test for the Cowboys to see if the defense can keep up with this young team and if the offense can match their high level of play.
