3. Touki Toussaint, RHP

One of the Rangers' biggest needs this offseason is improving the bullpen. Texas' relievers have combined for a 4.64 ERA (No. 25 in MLB) with 24 saves (No. 27) and 398 strikeouts (No. 29) while tallying just 8.67 Ks per nine innings (No. 26).

Someone who could help solve that issue is none other than White Sox veteran pitcher Touki Toussaint.

On paper, Toussaint doesn't look like he'd be a huge addition. After all, he's 1-6 with a 5.30 ERA in 13 games this season. However, it's worth noting that he's been better as a reliever, flashing a 2.13 ERA in four relief showings compared to a 6.26 ERA over nine starts.

Toussaint has also allowed just 3 runs on 4 hits despite facing 48 batters over 12 2/3 innings, further proving that he's better suited for a bullpen role.

The Rangers can't afford for their relievers to be ranked among the bottom half of the majors again. Adding Toussaint — who shouldn't come at an expensive cost — would be the first step to building a respectable bullpen, especially with his being under contract through 2026.
