5. Israel Mukuamu/Villami Fehoko Jr./Eric Scott

I'm going to group these three in as one pick, because there's not a lot to say about any of them individually.

Villami Fehoko and Eric Scott are on the 53-man roster because the Cowboys didn't want to risk losing them on waivers — which is a risk they'd have to take to stash either guy on the practice squad. But for all intents and purposes they're clearly viewed as practice squad players at this point.

Neither has been active for a single game, and we've received no indications that anything will change on that front in the near future.

Israel Mukuamu saw some special teams run while filling in as safety depth to start the season, but once Donovan Wilson returned to action that stopped. Mukuamu was immediately inactive, and we can expect him to remain that way.

As I mentioned above with McKeon, special teams contributions are valuable, but there are only so many roster spots that can be devoted to it. The Dallas defense has plenty of depth players who earn a roster spot with defensive play who are also capable of being solid contributors on specials, so don't expect Mukuamu to be active until he can prove he deserves it on defense.
