4. Jordan Hicks & 5. Josey Jewell
Sticking with the theme of pilfering the 0-3 Broncos and Vikings, both teams have intriguing linebacker depth options that could help improve Dallas' core in the blink of an eye.
Minnesota's Jordan Hicks is the kind of player who covers all areas of the field. He has posted a whopping 513 combind tackles over the past four seasons, which would give the Cowboys an incredibly reliable player behind their intimidating front four.
Hicks can make plenty of momentum-changing plays as well. He tallied 31 tackles for loss in that same span, along with 17 QB hits and 8.5 sacks. He's also got a nose for the ball, racking up five forced fumbles with four recoveries since 2019 -- including one of each already in 2023.
Meanwhile, Denver's Josey Jewell is another impact LB to target. The 2018 fourth-round pick is coming off of a career year in 2022 where he set personal bests in tackles (128), TFL (7) and sacks (2.5). He even became a turnover-creating machine, logging his first two NFL interceptions to go along with a pair of forced fumbles.
Damone Clark and Devin Harper have been decent to fine alongside Leighton Vander Esch, but neither has ever performed at Hicks or Jewell's level yet during their young careers. Acquiring either LB to beef up this linebacking corps would be one way to make this elite defense even better.
