Another week, another Thursday game for the Dallas Cowboys. This time they'll face the slumping Seattle Seahawks, who've lost three of their last four contests.
That being said, Seattle has the talent to take Dallas by surprise, so Mike McCarthy needs to put his best team on the field. As a result, a few players will be left on the bench due to limited gameday roster spots.
With that in mind, here are the five most likely Cowboys inactives for Week 13.
Cowboys Inactives Predictions Week 13
1. Tyrus Wheat
EDGE Tyrus Wheat has been a nice surprise as an undrafted free agent who's carved out a role on this squad. Wheat's appeared in six games for Dallas this season, while playing a significant amount (67%) of the available special teams snaps.
However, the UDFA's status for Week 13 is in jeopardy after he exited the Cowboys' Thanksgiving tilt with a concussion. He now must pass protocols before being cleared to play, but most players have needed more than one week to get through this year, putting him in danger of missing this Thursday Night Football showdown.
2. Trey Lance
While Wheat's availability for TNF is unclear, we don't have to wonder about backup quarterback Trey Lance. With Dak Prescott rolling and Cooper Rush serving as his No. 2, Lance remains as the third-stringer of this group.
That means it's highly unlikely he plays in Week 13, and he won't be inactive barring a last-minute catastrophe. However, he'll still be able to suit up thanks to the recently implemented third-QB rule, which allows Lance to dress and actually take the field if the two active quarterbacks are injured or ejected.
