5. Mitch Garver - C

Garver joined the Seattle Mariners on a two-year deal last week, ending his valuable two-year stint with the Rangers.

He was excellent in the postseason, drilling a Grand Slam in the ALDS and ranking second on the team in RBI during the playoffs. Jonah Heim is likely to get a raise in arbitration, so ultimately, the Rangers just couldn't justify the $24 million that Garver got from Seattle.

In 2023, Garver hit 19 home runs with 50 RBI, slugging .500 and providing valuable depth at both catcher and DH. His presence will be missed in the clubhouse, especially given the clutch moments he delivered in.

He'll be expected to bring that same brand of clutch hitting to the Mariners, who fell short but are a trendy pick to pull off a similar jump that the Orioles did this year.

Seattle is getting a quality ball player and one that will be remembered in Texas forever.
