4. Michael Gallup, WR

Alright, we have to give credit where it's due because we've been hard on Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup all season.

But the dude finally went out and made some plays against the Giants in what could ultimately be a tune-up game that turns his season around.

Gallup wasn't as involved in the gameplan as Brandin Cooks and CeeDee Lamb, but did any individual Cowboys player need to make a play as badly as Michael Gallup needed to make this one?

Sure, Gallup finished this game with just 2 receptions, but one was for 29 yards and the other was this outstanding 41-yard touchdown.

It might not be much, but if this was a get-right game for both Gallup and Cooks, then this Dallas passing attack might just heat up at the best possible time.

5. Rico Dowdle, RB

I wanted to put CeeDee Lamb in this slot, but he's a stud every single week. You've got to give some other guys opportunities in the spotlight, right?

And Rico Dowdle is deserving. It was a career day for Dowdle, who has been sparsely used this season by the Cowboys, and everyone's left wondering why after what we saw from him against the Giants.

Dowdle ran for 79 yards on 12 carries (6.6 yards per attempt) and provided a bit of a spark to the running game. Did you know that Tony Pollard hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 1 of the season?

Although a lot of this was in mop-up duty, perhaps what Rico Dowdle was able to put on tape with the opportunity he was given against the Giants will prompt Dallas to (rightfully) give him more touches going forward.
