We are officially in Week 2 after 16 games were played between Thursday to Monday. The Dallas Cowboys are 1-0 after they torched the Cleveland Browns 33-17.

They were dominating on both sides of the ball and look ready to roll in 2024. Even though it's just one game, the Browns are already bringing in a former Dallas Cowboy for a workout following the blowout loss.

NFL News: Browns Hosted Geoff Swaim for Workout

Per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Browns hosted multiple tight ends, including Geoff Swaim.

Cleveland will be without starting tight end David Njoku for a couple of weeks after he suffered a high-ankle sprain. They need some depth at tight end and brought in the ex-Cowboy.

Swaim was drafted in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. He played for Dallas from 2015-2018, where he was a capable run blocker with secure hands as a weapon.

In four seasons with Dallas, Swaim logged 35 receptions (43 targets) for 336 yards, and one score.

He ended up leaving town in 2019, joining the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, and Arizona Cardinals over a span of five years.

Cleveland also brought in Irv Smith and Tommy Sweeney in addition to Swaim.

Regardless, the Browns may be looking to tap into the Dallas well after getting defeated by 16 points in Week 1.

Swaim's best season came in 2018 with the Cowboys, where he notched 26 catches for 242 yards and 9.3 yards per reception. Cleveland would hope for a similar production in Swaim if he was brought on but we'll have to see if they agree to terms.
