The Dallas Cowboys are coming off another disappointing loss at home, this time at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens.

The Cowboys’ defense was the main focus of the Week 3 loss as they had no answer for the Ravens’ ground attack, who gashed them for 274 yards and three touchdowns. However, Dallas’ offense warranted some attention too, specifically star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.

Lamb didn’t have a great showing against the Ravens, posting four receptions (seven targets) for 67 yards. The star receiver’s frustration and body language were very telling as it caught the attention of FOX Sports color commentator and future Hall of Fame QB Tom Brady.

"“Just some of that body language from him today — CeeDee’s a great player, there’s no doubt about it,” Brady said. “Just a little frustration. Sometimes that frustration on the sideline leads to frustration on the field. When I see him at his best, he’s excitable, he brings the juice, brings the energy.""

The Cowboys could’ve used Lamb at his best, especially as they tried to mount a comeback in the fourth quarter. On Tuesday, the star wide receiver spoke with reporters about his behavior against the Ravens and expressed disappointment.

“I know that’s not the player I am. I know that’s not the teammate I am. … It was a bad game on my end. I fully take accountability in that,” Lamb said (h/t Jon Machota of The Athletic). “I will be better in the future. And it’s going to be fine.”

If you are Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy, you must appreciate Lamb’s maturity and how he owned the situation. He didn’t make any excuses for his actions. Instead, the 25-year-old receiver held himself accountable and said he would be better in the future.

It’s hard to blame the talented receiver for being frustrated, given how things have gone over the last two weeks.

However, it's only been three games and the Cowboys can still change the narrative about themselves on Thursday night against the New York Giants. Lamb will be one of the main catalysts to help Dallas get back on track and hopefully into the win column.
