Cowboys News: Da'Ron Bland Was Listed on Top 25 Performance-Based Payouts
Bland was selected in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft and is playing on a four-year, $3.9 million deal. However, his outstanding 2023 season led to him being ranked 20th on this list.
The Fresno State product stepped up in a massive way for the Cowboys when Trevon Diggs went down for the year when he suffered a torn ACL.
Bland is a serious ball hawk with a knack for turning interceptions into pick-sixes. Last season, the 24-year-old logged 69 total stops but was tied for seventh in pass deflections (15) and was first in interceptions (9).
He also set the record for most defensive touchdowns in a season with five.
Per PFF, Bland finished with a 90.4 overall grade and produced a 50.9 passer rating allowed. Jerry Jones and company found a gem on Day 3 of the 2022 NFL Draft and he's rewarded them with an emerging stud at the position.
Nonetheless, Dallas has one of the best rosters in the NFL. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Cowboys have the fifth-highest odds (+1300) to win the Super Bowl. If you like these odds, head over to FanDuel Sportsbook and take advantage of your sign-up bonus.
