The Dallas Cowboys have constantly been in the news cycle since January. After a heartbreaking loss in the playoffs to the Green Bay Packers, owner Jerry Jones told the fanbase that the team was going to be "all-in" for 2024.

Despite what the 81-year-old president said, the Cowboys didn't do much in free agency and on the trade front to improve the roster.

Instead, they decided to focus on the 2024 NFL Draft and added some low-cost veterans like RB Ezekiel Elliott.

With the NFL Draft on the back burner, the Cowboys are looking at the free agent market to fill in some holes and decided to bring in a 29-year-old WR in for a visit.

Cowboys News: Zay Jones Will Be Visiting Dallas on May 8

According to NFL Insider Jordan Schultz, former Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones will be visiting Dallas on Wednesday.

On April 30, Jones was released by the Jaguars and has taken two visits with the Tennessee Titans and the Arizona Cardinals thus far.

Outside of superstar WR CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks, the Cowboys are in need of another capable playmaker and Jones could fill in that void.

The ECU product is a smooth route runner who has experience playing both in the slot and on the outside. Jones has strong hands and has the quickness to run away from defenders in open space.

In his career, Jones has recorded 287 receptions for 3,028 receiving yards, and 18 touchdowns.

The 2017 second-round pick still has the ability to make an impact on the field and likely won't cost much to bring in. Tyler Boyd just signed a one-year, $4.5 million deal with the Tennessee Titans and Jones will certainly fetch less than that.
