5. Asim Richards

Asim Richards was something of a surprise inactive in Week 5 after playing the first four games of the season.

With Dallas' offensive line finally healthy, however, there's less of a need for Richards to suit up, which means he'll likely be inactive in Week 6 as well.

The 23-year-old rookie didn't make much of an impact in his first 4 career games, appearing in just 21 total offensive snaps (7%). He appeared in 17 special teams snaps as well (17%), but didn't make much of an impact there either.

A guy who only plays sparingly on the offensive line and on special teams simply isn't worth a valuable roster spot. If he had a larger presence on the O-line he'd have more of a case, but with the Cowboys' improved depth there there just isn't room for him on the roster right now.

That could change as the season progresses, injuries inevitably pop up and Richards becomes more comfortable at the NFL level. But right now, it's better to have continuity on the O-line where possible and more talented/experienced players protecting Prescott.

Accordingly, expect Richards to sit again in Week 6.
