Unfortunately for Dallas Cowboys fans, the team has been incredibly quiet to begin the offseason. Most of the headlines involving Dallas have revolved around players or coaches leaving, instead of marquee additions.
However, Cowboy Nation finally got some exciting offseason news on Sunday.
Cowboys safety Juanyeh Thomas has announced the birth of his first child, Juanyeh Ajah Thomas Jr.

Dallas safety Juanyeah Thomas announced on Instagram that he and his partner have welcomed their first child together, Juanyeh Ajah Thomas Jr. Thomas captioned his post, "My lil munchkin is here" with a heart emoji and said "Got you 4L [for life] baby boy."
Unfortunately for Thomas, officially becoming a new dad hasn't prevented his Cowboy teammates from roasting him. Fellow safety Malik Hooker poked fun at Thomas' "fat genes" in his first text to the celebrating father.
Son was just born and first thing malik text me is “Ik his fat genes want some food”…. @MalikHooker24 that was yo last straw…. If yo car is keyed when you back, mind yo damn business and lose my number bully…..

The past year has to have been a whirlwind for Thomas. He entered the 2023 campaign with no real standing in Dallas after making zero appearances as an undrafted rookie in 2022.
Yet, his role changed in a flash, as the Georgia Tech product went on to play in 16 games for the Cowboys this past season. He was a core member of the special teams unit -- taking the field for 75% of the snaps available in 2023 -- and even saw 19% of the defensive snaps played.
Now Thomas will enter 2024 looking to build upon his massive uptick in playing time.
He'll also be just one of several Cowboys players will newborns at home, as the likes of Dak Prescott and Zack Martin have welcomed children this offseason as well.
