The Dallas Cowboys are 2-2 heading into Week 5. They are set to travel and play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football.

Even though they are sitting at .500, the Cowboys' roster still needs some help. Dallas' running attack has been nonexistent, which means there's more pressure on Dak Prescott and the passing game.

The Cowboys' wide receiver core took a hit when Brandin Cooks underwent knee surgery this week. He's now expected to miss a few weeks but Dallas doesn't have time to wait. Las Vegas receiver Davante Adams has officially asked to be traded.

That put multiple teams into a frenzy to acquire him so Tashan Reed and The Athletic NFL Staff created trade packages and included the Cowboys on the list.

Cowboys News: Dallas Lands Davante Adams in Projected Blockbuster Trade

The Cowboys could use Adams on offense and in this proposed deal, they didn't offer too much.

In this proposal, the Cowboys land Adams in exchange for a 2025 third-round pick and receiver Jalen Brooks.

The Raiders are reportedly seeking a first or second-rounder for Adams but likely won't get that. In the article, they added that the Raiders will likely get better offers but if they wanted to send him to Dallas, that would be huge.

Having a dynamic 1-2 punch of Adams and CeeDee Lamb would form one of the best duos in the NFL. Especially in a year where the Cowboys have pressure to win a Super Bowl, there won't be a better chance to land an All-Pro playmaker again.

If Jerry Jones and company are serious about winning, they'll call Las Vegas and see what it takes to acquire Adams. It would also be a reunion for Mike McCarthy and Adams, who were in Green Bay together from 2014-2018.
