Round 2, Pick 56: Ruke Orhorhoro, DT, Clemson

With their second pick in this mock, the Cowboys address another major need as they add Ruke Orhorhoro out of Clemson. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 294 pounds, Orhorhoro has exactly what this Dallas defensive line needs — size.

New defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer has made it no secret that he wants big bodies on the defensive line, especially at tackle. Dallas has players such as Osa Odighizuwa and Chauncey Goltson playing 3-tech but neither is built like a traditional defensive tackle. Odighizuwa is 6-foot-2 and 280 pounds while Golston comes in at 6-foot-5 and 267 pounds. That's led to some rough outings when trying to stop the run — and the smaller 3-techs have also been unable to consistently get home when rushing the passer as well.

They did try Mazi Smith in this role but that never should have happened. He should have remained a 337-pound nose tackle. Perhaps Zimmer allows him to return to his strength and adding Ohorhoro will help facilitate that.

During his career with the Tigers, Ohorhoro had 88 tackles and recorded 9.0 sacks over the past two seasons. He's still incredibly raw (which makes his production that much more impressive) and if they can help him reach his potential, he could develop into a game-wrecker.
