It was easy to write off the Dallas Cowboys' loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3 as a fluke, but suddenly that attitude has clearly changed.

After getting thrashed by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5, the Cowboys are getting no love from the betting markets before a Week 6 Monday Night Football showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Cowboys vs Chargers Odds Week 6

The Cowboys are 2-point favorites against the Chargers, sitting at -130 on the moneyline in a game with a 51-point over/under.

It's good to see Dallas favored, I guess, but a spread of 2 points highlights just how far perceptions around this team have fallen off.

Los Angeles may be 3-1, but those wins have been in some really soft matchups. Beating the Tennessee Titans by 3, Minnesota Vikings by 4 and Las Vegas Raiders by 7 doesn’t exactly inspire confidence.

Despite being 3-1, the Chargers' +1.5 point average scoring differential ranks just 14th in the NFL, compared to the Cowboys' mark of +10.2 ranking third.

But Dallas padded that mark in three blowout wins over weak opponents, and apparently oddsmakers aren't buying it.

After what we saw against the 49ers, however, can you blame anyone for not giving the Cowboys respect? You can forgive some of those struggles as being what happens when you face an elite opponent, but this Dallas team was supposed to be elite too. That game was supposed to be an NFC Championship preview.

Instead, it's a game that left the betting markets suggesting that the Cowboys are barely better than the Chargers.
