The Dallas Cowboys showed their potential by clicking on all cylinders in Week 10. Dallas routed the New York Giants this past Sunday, earning a 49-17 victory that wasn't even as close as that lopsided score suggests.

It's a new week, though, so the Cowboys can't get too caught up on their dominant win. Thankfully, they draw another lowly opponent to beat up on in Week 11 with the Carolina Panthers on tap.

Considering how each team is in very different places, oddsmakers are expecting another contest that could be decided early.

Cowboys vs Panthers Opening Odds

Dallas is listed as a whopping 11-point favorite over the Panthers, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. The Cowboys are also a resounding -535 on the moneyline compared to the underdog Carolina at +400.

These odds shouldn't shock anyone, especially with how Dallas looked this past weekend. The offense is on a roll, putting up 43 and 49 points in two of their past three outings. The defense, meanwhile, continues to put a chokehold on lackluster opponents and generate turnovers, leading to victories where the Cowboys' starters can rest in the fourth quarter.

Dak Prescott is particularly feeling it, throwing for 11 touchdowns, 1,082 yards and just 2 interceptions over the team's last three games. CeeDee Lamb's explosion during this stretch -- 34 catches for 500 yards and 3 TDs -- has only cemented his case as one of the NFL's elite at his position.

Recent weeks (and really the entire 2023 season) haven't been nearly as kind to the Panthers. Frank Reich's squad has managed to win just one game all year due to a lifeless offense (third-fewest total yards per game) and hapless defense (third-highest opponent PPG allowed).

Carolina QB Bryce Young is clearly enduring some usual rookie-year struggles, providing Dan Quinn's defense with another victim to feast upon. Meanwhile, Prescott, Lamb and co. should have no trouble finding holes against this defense. I love targeting the Over in this contest due to Dallas' recent firepower alone.
