The Dallas Cowboys wrapped up the 2024 preseason on Saturday afternoon against the Los Angeles Chargers.

While all the attention was on quarterback Trey Lance, Cowboys fans in attendance also saw a former Dallas player put on a show. Chargers wide receiver Simi Fehoko made his presence known at AT&T Stadium, as he had two receptions (two targets) for 85 yards, which included a 78-yard touchdown catch.

The 26-year-old wide receiver showed off his speed, blowing by the Cowboys defender for a big play touchdown to start the second quarter.

For Fehoko, it had to be sweet to score a touchdown against Dallas as he was with the team for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Fehoko appeared in 10 games with the Cowboys, where he posted three receptions (four targets) for 24 yards and a touchdown.

The former Stanford wide receiver was released by the Cowboys last summer but ended up in Los Angeles in September. Fehoko didn't hang his head as he saw some action with the Chargers last season.

The young wide receiver had one reception (two targets) for nine yards and a touchdown in six games. Fehoko took a shot at the Cowboys on social media, posting the caption, “That getback a….” on Instagram.

The 26-year-old wide receiver probably feels like he still should be in Dallas after spending two years with the team. But with how he’s played in the preseason this summer, Fehoko has likely locked up a spot on the Chargers’ 53-man roster.
