Week 11, Monday, Nov. 18: Cowboys vs. Texans (Monday Night Football)

There was a time when the Cowboys would have liked to see the Houston Texans on the schedule. That time has passed.

Houston went 10-7 last season and won in the Wild Card Round over the Cleveland Browns. C.J. Stroud was sensational as the rookie from Ohio State helped them add seven wins to their total from the previous season.

The Texans rebuilt their roster mainly through the assets they received from the Cleveland Browns in the Deshaun Watson trade. They turned the picks into 11 players and still managed to land another second-round selection in 2025. That spearheaded one of the more impressive turnarounds in the past several years.

In Week 11, the Cowboys will host the Texans on Monday Night Football and the pressure will be on them. They're going to see the young, hungry team from Houston come in ready to make a statement. Being the older, more established franchise, Dallas will look to make a point — but it won't be easy.

Stroud is going to put up some yardage and even though the secondary in Dallas is strong, there are far too many weapons in the passing game to deal with. On the other side of the ball, Will Anderson will give the O-line fits, leading to a late — and costly — mistake in this shootout.

Score Prediction: Texans 37, Cowboys 34
