Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Ben DiNucci has landed another NFL opportunity with the second week of preseason football underway.
According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, DiNucci is signing with the Buffalo Bills. The former Cowboys quarterback recently worked out for the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier this summer after being released by the Dallas Broncos.

DiNucci was selected with the 231st overall pick in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of James Madison University by the Cowboys.
The former JMU quarterback made one start in rookie season with Dallas as the Cowboys were without Dak Prescott and Andy Dalton. DiNucci completed 52.5 percent of his passes for 180 yards and had 22 rushing yards against the Philadelphia Eagles.
DiNucci spent the 2021 season with the Cowboys on their practice squad before being released in Aug. 2022.
After his short stint with Dallas, DiNucci played in the XFL in 2023 with the Seattle Sea Dragons. The former Cowboys quarterback was one of the league’s better signal callers, completing 64.7 percent of his passes for 2,671 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions.
DiNucci’s performance in the XFL was good enough to get signed by the Denver Broncos last offseason.
The 6-foot-2 quarterback spent the entire 2023 season on the practice squad and signed a reserve/futures contract in January. However, the Broncos released DiNucci in May.
He'll try to win the QB3 in Buffalo with Shane Buchele reportedly suffering a neck injury, which will sideline him for some time.
