It's been a long week for the Dallas Cowboys as they've been preparing for the Baltimore Ravens. There will be another home contest for the Cowboys but they have some things they need to improve on.

One of those is at tailback but owner Jerry Jones seems to have a lot of faith in his running back rotation. Even though they have struggled immensely through two games. He even made a wild comparison between Ezekiel Elliott and a four-time Pro Bowler.

Cowboys News: Jerry Jones Likes Dallas’ Running Back Room

As a guest on "105.3 The Fan", Jones tried to downplay the concerns at running back. He even went as far as comparing Zeke and Derrick Henry.

"I must tell you, this is a little bit of a first for me, because I've never seen such made of our position and what we're doing at that position, running back this year. Not having done this or not having done that at running back. Both of these guys came out the same time (Derrick Henry and Ezekiel Elliott). We've got a pretty good contemporary of our competition this week in Zeke Elliott. I'm pleased with what Zeke is doing."

He even added, "Running back is just not on our radar as far as an area of interest."

But that is something that he should change rather quickly. Heading into Week 3, the Cowboys are 26th in the NFL in rushing offense (85) but Zeke hasn't done much as a whole.

The Ohio State product has compiled 15 carries for 56 yards, one score, and a measly 3.5 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Henry has recorded 31 rushes for 130 yards, one touchdown, and 4.2 yards a rush.

One player has been more effective, but Jones wants to pull the wool over his eyes instead. The Cowboys need the run game to pick it up, or the pressure will continue to mount on the shoulders of Dak Prescott and Mike McCarthy.
