The Dallas Cowboys did not have a memorable Sunday afternoon this week.

Just a week removed from exposing the Philadelphia Eagles at home in primetime, they themselves went up to Buffalo and got exposed by the Bills in a 31-10 dismantling.

Making matters worse, offensive lineman Zack Martin went down in the first half due to an apparent leg injury in the loss. He came out of the tunnel for the second half in a sweatshirt and hat, meaning his day was done and sending Cowboys fans everywhere into an emotional downward spiral.

Luckily, it may not be so bad afterall.

Cowboys News: Zack Martin Provides Great Injury Update

After getting hit "deep in the quad" on Sunday evening, ending his night early, it appears Martin is pretty confident he will be out there ready to go when the Cowboys take on the Miami Dolphins next week.

It was hard not to think the worst after the way he reacted to his injury and missing the entire second half, but thankfully it looks like the Boys will be able to rely on his services moving forward.

The Cowboys have a full week of work to do after the shellacking the Bills handed them. It will be imperative Martin is out there taking reps with the 1st team in practice to get themselves right and ready to face a second consecutive AFC contender in the Dolphins.

If Martin can't go then we could see rookie T.J. Bass get another chance to start, and while Bass has performed admirably when called upon this year he's still an obvious downgrade from Martin.

The Cowboys need to bounce back quickly in order to keep pace in the NFC east with the Eagles. There's no risk of missing the playoffs at this point, but righting the ship and building some momentum before the postseason is going to be crucial.
