2. Noah Igbinoghene, CB

Unfortunately for the Cowboys, the trade to acquire Noah Igbinoghene -- a former first-round pick -- in exchange for Kelvin Joseph at roster cuts has turned out to be a total flop. Igbinoghene has played a whopping total of 25 defensive snaps this season so far, and although he does have a touchdown off of a blocked kick, it's probably safe to say his inactive streak will continue in Week 9.

He hasn't played since Oct. 8, and there's no reason to think he's going to be out there this coming week. Even with an injury to Trevon Diggs, the Cowboys have adjusted without a guy that they took a chance on. Incidentally, the Cowboys could really use Kelvin Joseph right now in the slot...

3. Jalen Brooks, WR

One of the more consistent inactive players for Dallas right now is 2023 seventh-round pick Jalen Brooks, and that's somewhat to be expected. Even though the Cowboys are struggling to find a true consistent option opposite CeeDee Lamb at receiver, they haven't had to move far enough down the depth chart to give Brooks extended snaps just yet.

Brooks is a talented player, and there will come a time when he gets a shot, but it's not going to be in a massive Week 9 matchup against a team like the Eagles. He's played just 44 total snaps so far this season between offense and special teams.
