Predicting the Cowboys' Primetime Games Ahead of 2024 Schedule Release
5. Baltimore Ravens (Home)
Another division winner on tap for the Cowboys in 2024 is the Baltimore Ravens, who lost just four games all of last season.
Baltimore enters the season looking to finally break through as a Super Bowl team after years of making the playoffs, much like Dallas.
Both teams also field dominant defenses and feature two of top quarterbacks in the league, one of which is coming off of another MVP win, which only raises the Ravens' appeal to schedule makers.
The league loves pitting two top-flight QBs against one another for marquee showdowns, so it'd be no surprise if they can't resist a Dak Prescott-Lamar Jackson face-off this year.
6. Atlanta Falcons (Road)
The Atlanta Falcons are one of the non-playoff teams that could emerge as threats to the Cowboys and other squads who made the postseason in 2023.
The signing of Kirk Cousins has immediately elevated Atlanta's offense, which could be a top-five unit if Captain Kirk has the impact as expected.
Aside from the contender storyline, though, there's the fact Cousins was once a pain in Dallas' side as a division rival. His final two years in Washington directly overlapped with Dak Prescott's first two seasons, so these two big-name QBs have history.
With Cousins just making a massive change in locations and there speculation around Prescott doing the same next offseason, there'd be no shortage of talking points for whichever network draws this contest.
