WATCH: Cowboys-Chargers Pregame Fight Breaks Out Ahead of Monday Night Football

This wasn't just some tough-guy posturing, it was a legit fight.

The Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers are set to go toe-to-toe on Monday Night Football, but the two teams couldn't wait for the opening kickoff to get into it.

As soon as the Cowboys were taking the field, the teams got into a heated altercation which resulted in some serious shots being thrown.

Check out the video from ESPN below:

This is not macho tough-guy posturing. Plenty of players like to pretend they want to get into fights but aren't really about it.

The Cowboys were about it.

Clearly feeling disrespected that the Chargers were blocking their path onto the field from the tunnel, some Cowboys players let the Chargers hear it.

Then Chargers DB Ja'Sir Taylor (#36) pushed Mazi Smith (#58), and it was on.

Hard shots started being thrown from both sides, even culminating in Austin Ekeler (who admittedly looked like he was trying to break things up) getting his bucket knocked off.

Nobody seems to have been ejected for the scuffle, but we can certainly expect to see some fines handed down later in the week.

We can also expect a ton of early penalty flags now, as both teams are going to come out hot and the referees will want to do what they can to cool things down.

Sportsmanlike or not, this is one way to add major excitement to an already great Monday Night Football matchup.
