If you thought the Cowboys' decisive win over the Eagles wasn't glorious enough, it seems Dallas' defense may have broken Jalen Hurts.

After fumbling for the seventh consecutive game in the Cowboys' win, Jalen Hurts is officially subject to ball-protection drills. In a humiliating display, Eagles' coaches are forcing Hurts to do elementary drills.

This sure looks like a broken Eagles team to me.

Dallas handed Philadelphia a second consecutive double-digit loss to an NFC contender, throwing a healthy pinch of disarray into the Eagles' holiday dinner pot. Once considered unbeatable, Philly must now figure out how to close the year strong and build momentum going to the postseason.

Hurts' stellar production on the ground deserves no criticism, though it's obvious he has an issue holding onto the ball.

Given the Cowboys now feature the league's most formidable defense on top of the betting favorite to win MVP in Dak Prescott, it's understandable that the Eagles are turning to desperate measures to get an edge on the competition.

We'll see what comes of the next several weeks. In the meantime, the Cowboys have clearly struck fear into the Eagles' roster and should feel confident about earning the NFC's No. 1 seed.
