Where the Cowboys' RB Depth Chart Stands Heading Into Draft
5. Snoop Conner
Cowboys fans haven't had a chance to see Snoop Conner in the offense yet.
The former Ole Miss rusher was drafted 154th overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2022 and even played in eight games as a rookie before being locked to the practice squad last season. The Jags opted not to re-sign him this offseason, allowing him to join America's Team on a futures contract.
The jury is still out as to what Conner is capable of. He barely generated any offense in his rookie year, tallying just 42 rushing yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. At the same time, he doesn't turn 24 years old until August and could still have a lot of room to go.
Nevertheless, with all the bodies ahead of him, Conner faces an uphill battle to earn playing time with the Cowboys. Unless he blows the coaching staff out of the water this summer, he likely won't see much action unless it's with another franchise.
