The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers will square off on Sunday in what's expected to be an exciting Wild Card showdown. The 2-seed Cowboys are looking to continue their impressive season, while the 7-seed Packers want to jump start a potential Cinderella run toward another Super Bowl title.

Fans on both sides are amped up ahead of kickoff, which will be preceded by the signing of the national anthem. Here's who performed this traditional song for Cowboys-Packers on Sunday in the Wild Card Round.

Who Sang the National Anthem for Cowboys vs. Packers 2024 Wild Card Game?

The national anthem for the Cowboys vs. Packers 2024 playoff game was performed by trumpeter Freddie Jones.

This is Dallas' first time hosting a postseason game since the 2021 campaign. The Cowboys went 12-5 during that year, which led to them winning the NFC East and earning a home matchup in the playoffs. Prior to that contest versus the San Francisco 49ers, well-known local trumpet talent Freddie Jones performed the national anthem. Unfortunately, the 'Boys went on to fall to the 49ers 23-17.

Dallas' most recent home playoff win was during the 2018 season. That came during the Wild Card round, as the Cowboys took down the Seattle Seahawks 24-22. Trumpeter Freddie Jones also performed the national anthem prior to that game.

Ahead of Cowboys-Packers, Dallas is a strong -330 favorite on the moneyline, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Oddsmakers also believe Mike McCarthy's current squad will defeat his old one by at least a full touchdown, as evidenced by the spread.
