The Dallas Cowboys have Dak Prescott as their franchise QB and traded for Joe Milton III in the offseason to be their QB2. He's a young, talented signal caller who has room to grow.

They have faith in these two guys going into the 2025 season, but with training camp around the corner, there are several players on the open market looking to land a job.

While many players still have hopes of playing in the NFL, there could be another outlet to play some football after the CFL released its negotiation list on Wednesday. The nine teams in the league are allowed to have 45 players on their negotiation list, who are either unsigned or playing in the NFL, in college football, or another league.

And former Cowboys QB Ben DiNucci landed on the BC Lions list.

Ben DiNucci Is on the BC Lions Negotiation List

DiNucci was with the Cowboys from 2020-2021, where he played in one game. In that outing, he went 23-of-43 for 219 yards and was sacked seven times. He ended up being waived by Dallas in 2022 and landed in the XFL with the Seattle Sea Dragons.

In the 2023 XFL season, DiNucci led the Sea Dragons to a 7-3 record, leading the league in passing yards (2,671), attempts (374), and completions (272) while being second in passing touchdowns (20).

Those numbers got him back in the NFL, where he landed on the Denver Broncos practice squad from 2023-2024. After that stint, he briefly signed to the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints practice squads.

He was released by the Saints in April and has been on the open market since. If he can't find another spot in the NFL, his only option to play football may come in the CFL, where the Lions hold his negotiation rights. If he were to play in the Canadian Football League, he would only be able to do so with the Lions, who like what he can bring to the table.

He showed the ability to light things up in the XFL in a couple of years, and the BC Lions are hoping that can be the case for them.
