1. St. Louis Blues

The Blues got more done in the first week of free agency than any other team. Here are their additions.

Notable Additions:

  • Ryan O’Reilly, C

The Buffalo Sabres traded their star center, Ryan O’Reilly, to St. Louis in exchange for three players and two draft picks.

More from Dallas Stars

Last season, O’Reilly scored 61 points (24 G, 37 A) in 81 games. In his career, he has tallied 422 points (155 G, 267 A) in 651 games. O’Reilly will help Vladimir Tarasenko and Alexander Steen lead the charge this season.

  • Tyler Bozak, C

The Blues also signed Tyler Bozak, who had previously played his entire NHL career with Toronto. The deal is worth $15 million over three years.

Last season, as a 2nd and 3rd line center, Bozak put up 43 points (11 G, 32 A) in 81 games for the Maple Leafs. He is just shy of 600 NHL games played with 594 and has scored a total of 136 goals and 229 assists since he started playing in the league in 2009.

  • David Perron, LW

The Blues re-added David Perron back to their roster on a four year, $16 million dollar deal. Perron, like James Neal, was stolen by Vegas in the expansion draft last year. While with Vegas, Perron scored 16 goals and 50 assists for a career-best 66 points.

While with St. Louis from 2007-2013 and 2016-17, The Sherbrooke, Quebec native has scored 244 points (102 G, 142 A).
