After the NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys got to work signing undrafted free agents. So today we turn our attention to post-draft signings and answer the all-important question, ‘who are these guys?’

Every year right after the draft ends, teams scramble to make offers to the players who didn’t get drafted. Historically, the Dallas Cowboys have done quite well. One of the most recent and successful undrafted free agent signings in Cowboys lore is Tony Romo.

Romo got picked up after the draft, he learned, developed, and eventually became the starting QB of America’s Team. That’s far from typical. Usually these players either flesh out in the middle to bottom of a roster. Sometimes they fill out the practice quad, sometimes they become special teams aces, and sometimes they are camp casualties. It’s safe to say, most of the time they don’t spend a ton of time in the NFL.

But every once in a while you get a Romo…

A lot of these guys were not names many knew of heading into the NFL Draft. Some might have been considered late round picks, but most are relatively unknown to most fans. Kickers usually come to teams after the draft with some exceptions. But every year people ask, ‘who are these guys?’

To catch up, let’s look at this year’s class of undrafted free agents. You’ll see some familiar names on that list and that should give you an idea what to expect from this class. While some of the names may change out over the next few days, this should give you a good primer on who these guys are. So far no punters have signed, but they will probably bring someone in for minicamp. So let’s go and take a look at who the Dallas Cowboys signed!
