Aaron Shampklin , RB, Harvard

The Dallas Cowboys will have questions next season when it comes to running back. The team will have to decide whether to keep both Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard. Shampklin could be stashed for a year to help make the decision easier. For now, a practice squad pickup, but could find a home quickly if he can return kicks.

Shampklin is a scat-back style running back with speed and agility that jump when you watch him. He can plant and go hitting full speed quickly and efficiently. He is a good receiver out of the backfield and dependable. With outstanding vision and acceleration, he hits holes quickly and decisively looking for extra yards throughout. Big plays abound.

Shampklin isn’t going to power through many tackles so might be limited in his role in the NFL. Not the best in pass blocking and would need work to be trusted often to do it. While he can hit holes well and is patient, will show glimpses of trying to predict the hole.
