3. Brock Hoffman, RG

Earlier this week, the Cowboys announced that starting right guard Zack Martin's 2024 season is over due to an ankle injury. Given his age (34) and the fact that his contract is up at the end of the year, the nine-time Pro Bowl guard's time in Dallas — and NFL career — could be over.

With that being said, Martin's injury could be a blessing in disguise for Brock Hoffman, who's now the Cowboys' No. 1 RG.

Although he hasn't seen a ton of playing time this season (2 starts in 12 games), Hoffman has capitalized on his limited opportunities. He's played to a 75.7 pass block grade and 67.8 run block grade, per Pro Football Focus, while playing 183 offensive snaps.

Hoffman has made a positive impact as a run blocker, but he's also been an asset in pass protection. Since Week 10, the former Virginia Tech product hasn't allowed a single pressure on 93 passing downs and even tallied a monstrous pass block grade of 87.5 against the New York Giants in Week 13.

If he can capitalize on his upcoming opportunities, Hoffman can easily solidify himself as the Cowboys' starting RG for the 2025 campaign. He's done everything that the coaching staff has asked from him and more, making it his job to lose amid Martin's uncertain future with the franchise.
