Born and raised in the Joplin, MO area and now live in Plano, TX. Growing up I was all Baseball and Football, since in Southwest MO hockey is about as foreign as cricket. Once the Stars moved to Texas I discovered hockey and was immediately hooked. While I enjoy major league sports, the purity of following guys chasing a dream has always been a major draw for me. When the Texas Tornado moved to Frisco in 2003 I became an immediate fan of the team and NAHL. Now they have moved to North Richland Hills as the Brahmas I have followed them there and will continue to write about the team and NAHL as a whole.
