The Dallas Cowboys had their first training camp practice on Tuesday and George Pickens couldn't help but be excited after that session with his new team.
The Cowboys took the field again on Wednesday, and things got testy as some punches were thrown. But outside of that fight, superstar receiver CeeDee Lamb torched and embarrassed his teammates on a long screen pass that he took the distance for a touchdown. On his way to the endzone, Lamb broke some defenders' ankles and made others miss.
After scoring, he and Pickens shared their new handshake, and it has social media in a frenzy.

Dallas WR CeeDee Lamb Makes Incredible Play in Wednesday’s Practice
This isn't surprising to this fanbase, as they've become accustomed to the sensational plays that the star playmaker can create.
Ever since stepping foot in Dallas in 2020, Lamb has become one of the best receivers in the game. In five seasons, he has reeled in 496 passes for 6,339 receiving yards and 38 touchdowns. The Oklahoma product has gone over 1,000 yards in four straight seasons.
A huge play like this only puts in the minds of fans of what can take place this season. After practice, Lamb boasted about Dallas' WR corps, saying, "I like us. I don't care what they're saying in the media. I see it, and you'll see it in September."
He then expressed his excitement to team up with Pickens and even teased that this is just the start for the duo.
"I hope we do this for x amount of years — I don't know. But I know we're not about to do this for [only] one year."CeeDee Lamb
That's an interesting comment considering Pickens is going into the last year of his rookie contract. This duo has the chance to become one of the best pairs in the game. Their playstyles complement each other so well. Lamb is a precise route runner who can dominate on all three levels of the field but will dominate in the short and intermediate area. Meanwhile, Pickens stands at 6-foot-3 and can bring down contested catches with ease and can stretch the field.
Having each other on the field will only benefit one another when the season starts. At the end of the day, the passing game will run through Lamb, just as it should. He's a four-time Pro Bowler, two-time Second-team All-Pro (2022, 2024) and a First-team All-Pro (2023). The talent he has is undeniable and continued to put that on full display with his ankle-breaking touchdown on Wednesday.
This big play is hopefully just a tease of what's to come for the Cowboys offense and Lamb in 2025.
