The Dallas Cowboys have one of the most devoted fan bases in the National Football League. AT&T Stadium is packed for every home game and a ton of silver and blue can be found when the Cowboys head on the road.
This isn’t lost upon CeeDee Lamb, who has become one of the pillars of the franchise since arriving in Dallas. But the four-time Pro Bowl had a rare mishap when he was asked if they were on par with one of the Cowboys’ biggest rivals during Super Bowl weekend.
CeeDee Lamb Says Eagles Fans Are More Passionate Than Cowboys Fans
Lamb may have gotten himself in hot water when he appeared on an Instagram video with digital creator Katie Feeney. Lamb was asked if the Cowboys or the Philadelphia Eagles had the more passionate fan base during the 30 second clip, which led the Dallas star to an interesting response.
“Eagles, they’re crazy,” Lamb replied. “Our fans are deep but they not…I don’t want to say nothing crazy but the Eagles got it.”

There could be a valid explanation to Lamb’s response. Since he was at the Super Bowl, he was probably surrounded by Eagles fans that may have been ready to strike (with boos) if he went the other way. There are also several trips to Philadelphia seared into his mind where he played in front of the most rabid fan bases in the NFL.
At the same time, Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry also appeared in the clip and was asked whether the Ravens or the Kansas City Chiefs had the more passionate fan base. Presumably standing in a sea of red, Henry didn’t waver – even after his first season in Baltimore.
“To me, the Ravens,” Henry said. “But the Chiefs…they passionate too. They got the dynasty right now, so. It’s hard not to say them either.”
Lamb may have a point considering Eagles fans thought about the Cowboys from the moment they defeated the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. But it’s not sure to win him any favors when he returns to go in front of his own fans.
