Cowboys Fans Furious With Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs After Silly Podcast Comments
The Dallas Cowboys have their work cut out for them. They are currently 3-4 but have dropped two games in a row. The latest loss came on Sunday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers.
Not only did they lose but cornerback Trevon Diggs went after a reporter after the game following a post on Twitter.
Instead of focusing on getting a win, Diggs appeared on Micah Parsons' podcast "The Edge" on Monday and discussed the news around the team. One thing they talked about was the media coverage around the squad, and well, let's say that wasn't perceived well by the fanbase.
Cowboys News: Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs Comments Don’t Bode Well to Fans
Parsons and Diggs both believe that the media is painting a negative picture of the team and the Cowboys' media should be protecting them instead.
Parsons then asked Diggs if they should bring one of the Cowboys' media onto the podcast. Diggs responded, "Yeah. Yeah, let’s do that."
Their statements in this clip have not been taken well by the fanbase, as the two stars are being called out.
No matter how Parsons and Diggs feel about the media, that isn't going to change. They play for the Dallas Cowboys and will always be under the microscope. Especially since the team hasn't been to the NFC Championship since 1995.
Dallas has a gauntlet of games upcoming on their schedule. It starts with the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday then it follows with the Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans, and Washington Commanders.
The time to change the course of the season is now. Diggs and Parsons should worry more about changing the outcome on the football field and less about what people are saying about them. The more you talk when you're losing, the more negative things people will say.
And this is the latest example of that.
