The disappointing 2024 season for the Dallas Cowboys took another turn for the worse on Sunday. In Week 8, the Cowboys fell 30-24 to the San Francisco 49ers. This was the second straight loss for Dallas and they sit at 3-4.

The schedule doesn't get any easier though, as they have the Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans, and Washington Commanders over the next four weeks.

Instead of rallying and focusing on getting better, cornerback Trevon Diggs confronted a reporter right after the loss.

The reporter that Diggs went after was Mike Leslie. He posted a clip during the game questioning what Diggs was doing when George Kittle caught a pass and ran down the field for 43 yards at the beginning of the third quarter.

Diggs saw the tweet right after the game and decided to say something to Leslie while he was still in full uniform.

Diggs said to Leslie, "You don't know football. You can't do nothing that I do. Stop playing bro." Leslie responded and said we can talk about it bro but Diggs answered with an NSFW answer.

This isn't what the Cowboys need right now. They have been struggling to get it together on the field, and now one of their best defensive players seemed to have crashed out following another disappointing loss.

In this matchup, Diggs finished with five total tackles and one pass breakup. The 26-year-old needs to realize that nothing said outside of the locker room matters. Lashing out against a reporter is a terrible look for both Diggs and the Cowboys.

Dallas has their work cut out for them going forward, and they need to figure things out. Confronting a beat reporter following a loss isn't the right approach for Diggs and he knows that.
