The Dallas Cowboys' 2025 coaching staff will feature several new faces after a transformative start to the NFL offseason.

Mike McCarthy and his staff have been booted from the Lone Star State, replaced by the intriguing crew that first-time head coach Brian Schottenheimer is assembling. Newly hired offensive coordinator Klayton Adams already has the fanbase singing his praises while defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus' presence should help the defense perform more consistently in the fall.

That's without mentioning the Cowboys' other coaching signings, including running backs coach Derrick Foster and the retention of beloved tight ends coach Lunda Wells.

As the NFL offseason continues, so does the growth of Schottenheimer's staff.

Cowboys Reportedly Hiring Kansas State's Conor Riley as OL Coach

On Friday, DLLS Sports' Clarence Hill Jr. confirmed that the Cowboys are hiring Conor Riley as their new offensive line coach. He previously served as the offensive coordinator at Kansas State, which had one of the best blocking units in the country.

Riley is often seen as one of college football's best OL geniuses, proven by the work he's done with the Wildcats since 2019. Kansas State promoted the veteran coach to OC ahead of the 2024 campaign before going on to average 30.0 points (44th) and 210.2 rushing yards (12th) per game last season.

Although a lot of Cowboys are unfamiliar with Riley, one who isn't is 2024 third-round pick Cooper Beebe. The 23-year-old center spent five seasons playing under Riley at Kansas State, which includes two Big 12 Offensive Linemen of the Year awards and a unanimous All-American nod.

It'll be interesting to see if a reunion with Riley helps Beebe build off his impressive rookie performance. The Kansas City, MO native started in all 16 of his appearances with the Cowboys, finishing Year 1 with an offense grade of 65.4 on Pro Football Focus — 15th-best among 40 eligible centers.

With the right coaching and development plan, it isn't unfathomable to imagine Beebe competing for Pro Bowl honors in the next few years.

Fortunately, the 6-foot-4 blocker won't have to wait too long to work alongside his former college coach. Schottenheimer's staff can officially start holding offseason workouts beginning on Monday, Apr. 7.
