The Dallas Cowboys always find a way to get talked about. The latest example of that was the drama around DeMarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons, who had a spat on X.

They added low-cost deals with guys like Dante Fowler, Javonte Williams, Payton Turner, Solomon Thomas, and Jack Sanborn, to name a few.

The Cowboys continued to make additions on Saturday, but this time, they added a WR who used to play for the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Cowboys have agreed to terms with WR Parris Campbell.

Parris Campbell is Signing With the Dallas Cowboys

This is the second move at receiver for the Cowboys this offseason, after re-signing KaVontae Turpin.

Campbell came into the league as a second-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. After spending four seasons with the Colts, he signed with the New York Giants in 2023 and then landed with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024.

The Ohio State product has struggled to produce over the last two seasons. He's put up just 26 receptions (35 targets) for 134 receiving yards and one touchdown. His best season was in 2022 with the Colts, logging career highs in catches (63), targets (91), receiving yards (623), and receiving touchdowns (3).

With a combination of Matt Ryan, Nick Foles, and Sam Ehlinger, he was able to put up those numbers. The Cowboys are certainly banking on him regaining some of that success with a better quarterback in Dak Prescott.

Everyone knows the passing game runs through CeeDee Lamb, but they need more production from others guys in that room. Campbell has shown he can stretch the field with his speed and he'll get a chance to carve out a role for himself in 2025.

This likely won't stop Dallas from adding another WR in free agency or the NFL Draft, but he gives them a nice veteran depth option.
