The NFL offseason is constantly filled with storylines, and that's the case with the Dallas Cowboys once again.

On Wednesday, defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence agreed to terms with the Seattle Seahawks on a three-year deal that includes $18 million guaranteed and a max value of $42 million. After spending 11 years with Dallas, Lawrence wanted a change of scenery, but he wasted no time throwing shade at his former ball club.

When speaking with Seahawks blogger Brian Nemhauser, Lawrence said, "A change in scenery is always good, but Dallas is my home. I made my home there, my family lives there, I'm forever going to be there. But I know for sure I'm not going to win a Super Bowl there, so yeah. We here."

That caught the attention of Micah Parsons, who responded on X. He responded to the video, "This what rejection and envy look like! This some clown s---!"

Lawrence then answered and said on X, "Calling me a clown won't change the fact that I told the truth. Maybe if you spent less time tweeting and more time winning, I wouldn't have left."

Micah Parsons-DeMarcus Lawrence Engaged in Social Media Beef

These two men went from being teammates to having a jawing match online. Lawrence was a second-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Cowboys and was a steady force for them. Despite logging 61.5 sacks in his Dallas career, his time with the Cowboys ended on a bad note.

Last season, he only played in four games due to a Lisfranc injury in his right foot.

While he was productive during his time as a Cowboy, the Boise State product didn't waste a second taking a shot at Parsons and the organization. Lawrence clearly wasn't a fan of Parsons' podcast, but he didn't say anything while he was with the team.

He waited until he wasn't on the team anymore to voice his problems with the Cowboys, and that didn't sit well among players.

Former Cowboy Chauncey Golston also went online after Lawrence's comment. Golston said, "I thought it was a brotherhood over EVERYTHING." That highlights the friendship these guys believed they had in the locker room, but Lawrence squandered those bonds as soon as he left the building.

Those things didn't go unnoticed, and Lawrence quickly turned on his former organization.
