Super Bowl 59 was a rough night for Dallas Cowboys fans, who were forced to watch the rival Philadelphia Eagles win another Lombardi Trophy. Nothing is worse than seeing one of the franchise's most hated rivals succeed, and it remains to be seen if the Eagles' victory will motivate Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to field a proper Super Bowl contender this fall.
Having said that, Cowboys fans are wondering if Micah Parsons will be a part of the 2025 roster. The superstar defender's future with the franchise is uncertain after NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported over the week that Dallas has discussed potentially trading Parsons this offseason.
Now that the possibility of an offseason trade is out there, one player hasn't wasted any time trying to recruit Parsons to another one of the Cowboys' most despised rivals.
Cowboys News: Packers QB Jordan Love Recruits Micah Parsons
During the "Radio Row" lead-up to Super Bowl 59, Parsons had Green Bay Pacers quarterback Jordan Love as a guest on a live edition of his "The Edge" podcast. During the interview, the Cowboys pass rusher asked Love to list any players he wants to team up with in the future.
"Is there anybody in particular around the league that you feel like should come into the organization and make an impact?" Parsons asked (h/t @Official414). "Somebody that you want to shout out?"
"I mean, there's a dude sitting right next to me man," Love fired back, grinning. "You know what I mean? That would be pretty cool."

Parsons, 25, is entering the final year of his rookie contract next season, meaning he can't just up and leave Dallas to move to Green Bay. At the same time, the fact that the former Penn State product didn't immediately reject Love's recruitment will likely worry Cowboys fans.
Drafted 12th overall in 2021, it didn't take Parsons long to cement himself as one of the NFL's premier defensive disruptors. He proved that fact again last season as he racked up 30 solo tackles, 12.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, and a broken-up pass despite only playing 13 games due to injury.
By the time the dust settled, Parsons finished among the league's top exterior defenders in terms of pass rushing (91.6, 3rd) and overall defense (90.0, 6th) on Pro Football Focus. The effort also saw him earn his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl nomination, further illustrating his importance to the Cowboys.
Player movement is a part of the NFL experience, however, watching Parsons leave for Green Bay would make Dallas fans' stomach churn. The rivalry between these franchises has spanned for nearly 65 years and reached a new low with the Cowboys' embarrassing 48-32 home loss to the Packers on Wild Card Weekend 2024.
If Parsons joined the Packers after that happened, there's no doubt he'd be Public Enemy No. 1 any time he steps foot in the Lone Star State going forward.
Cowboys fans will learn more about Parsons' future as the offseason continues. NFL teams cannot sign free agents or trade players until the 2025 calendar begins on Wednesday, March 12.
