The 2025 NFL offseason has been a breath of fresh air for Dallas Cowboys fans after last year's slow start to free agency. Although America's Team hasn't exactly been signing needle-moving names, the Cowboys have done a solid job at rounding out the depth chart after having made 11 contract signings as of Sunday in the last three weeks, according to Spotrac.

As with every NFL offseason, the number of signings has slowed down with each passing day. The Cowboys aren't an exception to that rule, however, things in the Lone Star State could be heating up again judging by the team's latest news.

Cowboys News: Stephen Jones Hints Free Agent Signings 'Not Done Yet'

The Athletic's Jon Machota is reporting that the Cowboys aren't done with free agency just yet. According to executive vice president/CEO Stephen Jones, Dallas still has plenty of holes it's willing to use the open market to fill.

"We're not done yet. We still got some things that are outstanding that we're trying to get done," Jones said. (We) missed a few guys along the way too in terms of the number just being a lot higher than we thought it would be on a couple guys."

The Cowboys' early offseason activity has been a mixture of re-signings and new arrivals. Although Jones & Co. have managed to retain the likes of punter Bryan Anger and long snapper Trent Sieg, they've also brought in fresh faces such as defensive tackle Solomon Thomas and running back Javonte Williams.

With that being said, none of the new contracts handed out so far have broken the bank. Every contract that the Cowboys have handed out has been for one or two years, with the lone exception being Sieg, who landed a three-year contract. It's going to be interesting to see if any of the potential moves that Jones hinted at will follow that trend.

Regardless of who they have signed or will sign next, the Cowboys' increased offseason activity is encouraging to watch. A pedestrian approach to the previous offseason was a big reason why Dallas only went 7-10 in 2024, leaving time to tell if being more active will correlate to a better regular-season performance.

Even though most of the big-name free agents are off the board, there are still several available veterans who can help the Cowboys improve on last year's win total.

For now, oddsmakers are expecting Dallas to be playing on a similar level compared to last year. FanDuel Sportsbook is currently listing the Cowboys' projected 2025 win total at 7.5 victories with the Over and Under both available at -110 odds.
