Cowboys Ticket Prices Already Hit Ridiculous Highs That Most Fans Can't Afford

The 2025 NFL regular season schedule was just released on Wednesday, and it didn't take one of the Dallas Cowboys' games to become one of the most expensive.

Wednesday was a huge day around the NFL as all 32 franchises finally unveiled their 2025 regular season schedules. The Dallas Cowboys will be under the spotlight often next season, as their upcoming schedule features six primetime contests and a league-record four Thursday Night Football showdowns

With America's Team being as popular as it is, it isn't surprising that Cowboys tickets have been in high demand as soon as the 2025 schedule dropped. In fact, one of Dallas' late-season games is already among the most expensive tickets around the league before May is even over.

Cowboys-Chiefs Week 13 Thanksgiving Game Among Most Expensive 2025 Tickets

Following the league-wide schedule release, NFL insider Adam Schefter reported on which games are already among the most expensive of 2025. According to data from Vivid Seats, three of the top-five games involve the Cowboys, including their Week 13 showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs.

As of Wednesday evening, the Thanksgiving Day collision's average price sat at $1,491, trailing only the Cowboys' season opener against the rival Philadelphia Eagles ($1,743).

While the Thanksgiving game's ticket price is extraordinarily high, it isn't exactly surprising. For starters, tickets are usually more expensive when a good visiting team comes to town, and that's typically the case for the Chiefs wherever they go — especially with a star-filled roster that boasts names like Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones.

Fortunately, the Cowboys have no shortage of standout players. Quarterback Dak Prescott will be looking to do damage with top receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, and that's without mentioning names like Micah Parsons and DaRon Bland on the defensive side of the ball.

Secondly, the fact that the Cowboys-Chiefs clash is a part of the Thanksgiving Thursday triple-header also factors into the price. Whether it's local Dallas fans or Kansas City supporters coming from out of state, people are typically willing to spend more money on holiday football.

The Cowboys are heading into the 2025 campaign following a brutal seven-win performance last season, whereas the Chiefs are looking to reestablish themselves as contenders after losing Super Bowl 59. In other words, both teams have a lot to prove before and during their Week 13 matchup.

Recent Cowboys-Chiefs history has been fairly even, with each side winning three of the last six matchups. Only two of those clashes happened within the last decade, with Dallas most recently falling 19-9 at Arrowhead Stadium in a Week 11 meeting in 2021.

Having said that, the Cowboys emerged victorious when they last hosted the Chiefs in 2017, picking up a 28-17 Week 9 victory at AT&T Stadium.

Even though the highly anticipated Thanksgiving game isn't for another six months, it's already clear that Dallas will be facing an uphill battle. As May continues, the Cowboys are currently the 5.5-point underdogs on DraftKings Sportsbook ahead of their Week 13 meeting with the Chiefs.
