NFL free agency is set to kick off next month. There will be a bunch of movement around the league, and Dallas Cowboys fans will be intrigued by what their team does. But it's also worth paying attention to see what your rivals are doing.

The New York Giants made a big hire this offseason, making John Harbaugh their next head coach. With a new voice running the show, some players who were mainstays under the prior regime may land elsewhere, and wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson could have priced himself out of town. And Dallas would be thrilled to see him head elsewhere.

Cowboys Would Love to See Wan’Dale Robinson Leave Giants in Free Agency

The Giants need to bolster the offensive line and cornerback this offseason, in addition to receiver, but they must be selective. New York currently has $5 million in cap space, per Overthecap. They'll need to make some cuts and restructure some deals to create more space, but they may not want to meet Robinson's price point.

Spotrac projects that Robinson will get a four-year, $70.5 million ($17.6 AAV) deal in free agency, which is a nice signing for a team that doesn't have the extra funds. Robinson finished the 2025 season ninth in the league in catches (92), tied for 14th in receiving yards (1,014), to go along with his four touchdowns. This was his second straight season with 90-plus catches, showcasing that he can be a high-volume target.

With better quarterback play from New York in 2025, Robinson stood out and gave the NFL world a look at what he can do. Teams in the league are always looking for more help at wideout, and Robinson will have his fair share of options.

The Giants have a young star in Malik Nabers, but the playmaker tore his ACL and meniscus last season and will be rehabbing his way back onto the team. That leaves New York with a receiver room that has a lot of work to do, as Darius Slayton is the next best option.

New York will have to find ways to add more bodies to this room, but losing Robinson, who has shown the ability to be productive, will be tough for a team that can't afford to lose more playmakers. Whenever a player hits free agency, it's a new game and opens the door for a player to leave.

Dallas would love to see the Giants lose their best WR from the 2025 season, which would only make things more difficult for them and their quarterback, Jaxson Dart. Anything can happen, but there's a great chance that Robinson suits up for someone else in 2026.
