The NFL world has shifted its focus over to mandatory minicamp. This is the last phase of the offseason before things get rolling for training camp next month.
Countless minicamps get underway on Tuesday, including the Washington Commanders' session, led by head coach and former Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn.
Early into the first day of minicamp, it was reported that Commanders WR Terry McLaurin won't be attending minicamp per The Athletic's Diannia Russini, which is sure to catch Dallas' attention.
Commanders WR Terry McLaurin is frustrated with contract negotiations and will not be attending minicamp, per source.

Terry McLaurin Won’t Attend Commanders Minicamp
NFL Insider Jordan Schultz reported that McLaurin made it known he was frustrated with his current contract situation. After initially expecting OTAs, he left and decided to take it a step further by staying away from minicamp.
That isn't what Washington wants to see, but that's music to the ears of Cowboy fans. In Quinn's first season as Washington's head coach last year, he led them to a 12-5 record and an NFC Championship Game appearance.
McLaurin is a major part of Washington's passing attack, so him not being present isn't a good sign for the Commanders. In six seasons, McLaurin has compiled 460 receptions, 6,379 receiving yards, and 38 touchdowns, while going over 1,000 yards in five straight seasons. Just last season, with Jayden Daniels at the helm, he posted a career-high 13 touchdowns.
He's going into the final campaign of a three-year, $68 million deal. As Russini added, McLaurin skipped OTAs and minicamp three years ago before getting his new deal. He's going down that same path again this year, which creates another storyline that Quinn will have to do it.
Extra noise in the offseason isn't ideal. Teams just want to focus on getting better and taking a leap in 2025. That's what the Cowboys are doing with Brian Schottenheimer taking over. Meanwhile, Micah Parsons is due for an extension but is expected to show up for minicamp and got a promise from Schottenheimer that a new deal will be on the way.
