3 of the Cowboys' Biggest Concerns Going Into Training Camp
By Jack Gurley
How will the Cowboys deal with the CeeDee Lamb holdout?
On Tuesday evening it was reported that star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has decided that he will not report to training camp due to ongoing contract disputes with the Cowboys front office this offseason.
Lamb is entering the final year of his contract with Dallas and has quickly become one of the most dominant receivers in the league throughout the first four years of his career, finishing as the NFL receptions leader this past season.
The news of CeeDee deciding not to report to training camp is a devastating blow for the Cowboys due to the amount of turmoil the team has already had to go through this offseason. The news is also disappointing due to the exceptional season that Lamb had last year, as he was arguably the most valuable player on the Cowboys offense last season after putting up nearly 2,000 yards throughout the regular season along with twelve touchdown receptions.
Hopefully Lamb's decision to hold out of training camp gives Jerry Jones and the rest of the Cowboys front office the incentive to sign the wideout to a deal in the next few days.
