The Dallas Cowboys had a disappointing end to the 2023 season, as they lost to the Green Bay Packers in Super Wild-Card Weekend.

Instead of being aggressive in the trade or free agent to improve the team, the Cowboys really only used the NFL Draft to supplement the roster.

With an intense season on the horizon, the Cowboys need to take care of business and win the games they are expected to.

Below we'll discuss three games that the Cowboys need to win no matter what happens.

1. Week 4 @ New York Giants, 7:15 P.M., C.T

The Dallas Cowboys are going to face eight teams that made the playoffs in 2023. That just makes the other nine games on their schedule that much more important.

The Cowboys travel to MetLife Stadium in Week 4 to take on division rival New York Giants on Thursday Night Football.

Since taking over as the starting quarterback, Dak Prescott has gone 12-2 against the G-Men. With Dallas squaring off against New York early in the season, they need to take care of business.

They are clearly the more talented team so they can't afford to lose to New York. Those kinds of losses are the ones that come back to bite you later on in the year.

In 2023, the Cowboys went on the road to play the Giants in Week 1, torching them 40-0.

That statement win set the tone for the year as they went 12-5. Every win in the NFL is crucial so continuing to dominate the Giants in 2024 will go a long way.
